The AP-GAINED+ (Asia-Pacific Generative AI for NREN Empowerment and Development Plus) program is a regional initiative funded by Asi@Connect and TEIN*CC, and coordinated by the Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN). This initiative is designed to strengthen Generative AI knowledge and skills within National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) across the Asia-Pacific region.

The three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop will provide practical, hands-on learning experiences led by experts in the field. Participants will gain not only technical proficiency but also the capacity to train and mentor their own communities, creating a multiplier effect across member countries.

As part of the AP-GAINED+ Fellowship, selected participants will receive fellowship support, which includes coverage for participation in the workshop and related benefits.

By fostering AI expertise and collaboration, AP-GAINED+ aims to empower NRENs to harness Generative AI for research, education, and digital transformation in the region.
