As part of the AP-GAINED outreach initiative, a dedicated awareness session on Generative AI was conducted for the non-academic staff of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The session was led by Mr.G. A. Dhanuka Mahesh Thennakoon on 8th April 2025 at the Computer Lab of the Faculty of Management Studies.

The program focused on introducing the participants to the core concepts of Generative AI, highlighting its relevance and potential applications in administrative and operational settings. Through practical examples and discussions, the session aimed to enhance understanding of how GenAI tools can streamline day-to-day workflows and support institutional efficiency.
